Hotel advice

I need to make a decision today between the Holiday Inn at the entrance to Universal or the Clarion Hotel that is also near the entrance.

I believe they both have complimentary shuttles to the parks and CityWalk.

Has anyone stayed at either of these and have good or bad things to say about them?

We stayed at the Clarion one nigh. We arrived late and left eary to check in at the HRH and get to US for EE sp I don't have much of an opinion. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. Thats all that mattered to us.
