Hotel advice - mom and tween daughter

My tween daughter and I are planning to run the springtime surprise 10k. We will likely do the expo and hotel lounging on Friday, race and park on Saturday, and maybe park Sunday before flying home.

I want to have easy access to expo transportation and race morning transportation. Budget isn’t an issue but I can’t decide if grand Floridian or contemporary are significantly more convenient than yacht club or beach club (or other suggestions).
We are staying at Polynesian in august so want something different for this trip.

My dd and I stayed at the boardwalk last time she ran and we found it very convenient, and she enjoyed running the loop around the resorts in the days prior to the race.
