While searching for a Vegas hotel to go to with our two teens for 2 nights, I came across this article about this hidden gem boutique hotel called Hotel 32 which is on the 32nd floor of the Monte Carlo. You get a free limo ride to and from the airport, a lounge with free food, and a pretty amazing room, turn down service, on-floor concierges (called Suite Assistants) semi-private elevator, and awesome views. The price per night for our stay is $134 per night.

I'm wondering if anyone who has stayed here can give any feedback with regards to getting to & from the pool and of course anything else you experienced. I'm not sure this would be a great place for teens, but what place is great for teens on the strip? This is the last leg of our trip and we want to just have a couple of fun days hanging out at the pool during the day and seeing the lights at night, riding the rides on top of the Stratosphere, riding the zipline on Freemont St. and maybe seeing a show. We'll have a rental car, so we won't be able to take advantage of the limo and we won't be gambling.

The location looks great -- close to lots of other great hotels.

Im curious about Hotel 32 also, please right a report on it when ya get back. Fro the teens you will be right by NYNY and they ahve a few coaster also, the rides on top of Stratosphere are so scary, but not coasters. I would see a family friendly show, look at shows on veags.com. And your right the location is fantastic

I may be going in Aug, I may have to take a stroll over and see what it is. When are you going? I love to explore new places.

Haven't stayed in that part of the Monte Carlo but Blue Man Group does a nightly procession through the casino that is fun at around 6pm I believe(Check with the concierge desk, they'll be able to tell you for sure) and their show is definitely family friendly and well worth seeing! I would suggest purchasing tickets from tix4tonight though as they can get kind of pricey. Get Poncho seating if you can though, it's a blast! :)

We'll be there this time next week. I will report back on the hotel when after I get back. Apparently the free limo ride to/from the airport does not come with the standard room which we'll have. You have to book the suite or loft. We could get it for 1/2 price though, but won't need it anyway because we'll have a rental car.

We are going to try and get 1/2 price tickets for the Beatles tribute "Love." Thanks for the tip on the nightly procession though! Maybe we'll be able to catch that.

We've been back for a week, but it's been busy busy around here. So here is my report on our stay at Hotel 32.

When we arrived, the regular check in line in the lobby was horrendous. I knew we had a different way to check in, but wasn't sure where to go. As we walked around the lobby, we saw a VIP area, so we went in there and asked. We were able to check in there in a matter of a couple of minutes and were then given our room cards. There is a set of red elevators next to the other 4 elevators that say "Hotel 32" on them, but anyone can actually ride them, they just can't access the 32nd floor without a hotel room card/key. So it was kind of cool to put the key in the slot and go up to our own floor.

The 32nd floor had a much different calming atmosphere with soft blue-purple lighting, some kind of light fragrance (but not over-powering), and soft music. There was a suite assistant at the desk there to greet us and tell us about the amenities that were available. We found our room and were greeted by a small tray of fruit and bottled water. There was also a Keurig with some k-cups in our room (plus a fridge). We had been in the car for several hours and were all hungry so we headed over to the lounge area to see what was available. It was almost 7pm so they had hor dourves set out (seafood salad, pasta salad, other finger foods, strawberry cheesecake), soda, coffee, tea, and bottled water. It tided us over until dinner.

We left the hotel to explore the strip and have dinner. The hotel is very close to lots of places to eat. We ended up eating at Outback across the street and then went next door to check out the 4 floors of M&M world.

When we got back to our room around 11:00pm, our beds were turned down, there was a large fluffy terry-cloth robe on each bed and there were packages of slippers in the closet. There was also a small tray of chocolates on the nightstand.

We didn't hear a peep from any of the other rooms around us. The next day we went back to the lounge for breakfast which consisted of sausage egg patties, fresh cut-up fruit, pastries, muffins, yogurt cups with granola on the bottom, cottage cheese cups, fruit juice (the juice was in the back but the attendant in the lounge would get whatever you asked for), coffee, tea, and water. The serving sizes were small, so if you are a big breakfast eater, this would not really be enough food. There is a Denny's directly across the street where we ended up getting breakfast the next morning to go with what was in the lounge area. Denny's has 2 giant pancakes for $2 each, so we just ordered several orders of those to go and ate in our room. Cheap breakfast for sure! :woohoo:

On our first morning there, DH and I walked over to the Tix for Tonite place to get 1/2 price show tickets. Then we went to Freemont Street so the kids could ride the zipline. We parked at the Golden Nugget parking garage and just had someone at the casino cage validate our ticket so we could park free for the first 3 hours. We only stayed downtown for about an hour and a half and then went back to the hotel to spend the rest of the afternoon at the pool area. There's a walk-in wave pool and a lazy river with inner-tubes to rent (I think the rentals were $6 or $8 for the day).

We had a rental car so it was easy to get around without taking trams or buses. We could see an In & Out Burger from our hotel window, so of course we had lunch there one day.

Overall, we had a very nice stay. Because we didn't have any of the suites or deluxe rooms, we didn't get the free limo ride or the room with the fancy remote that turns everything on & off, opens the drapes, etc... and our room didn't have a TV in the bathroom mirror like the fancier rooms did, but it was still very nice. Much better than the Monte Carlo rooms and for close to or less money for the nights of our stay. I will probably stay here again if the prices stay cheap.

Attached pics include our room, the view from our room (of New York, New York), and one of the hor dourves (it was made with sun-dried tomatoes). The room next to ours was a loft and the maid let me peek inside to see it. It was huge! I'd love to have stayed in that room! You can check out pictures on trip advisor.

Did you get a discount on the room somehow or is that the normal price? This looks quite nice. I am trying to figure out how nice the pool area of the Monte Carlo hotel is.

It looks like the cheapest room there is the studio category. We need two beds. Is that what you got? Do you have more pictures?

No, we didn't get a discount, that was the price. Some nights cost less than that and some cost more (weekends for sure). We had two queen beds.

I took one other picture but it was just of the TV and desk/dresser. Nothing special so I didn't post it. There are lots of pictures on Trip Advisor including pictures of the lounge and 32 floor lobby. Just click on the travelers photos link.

Here are pictures of the pool area. Note that not every picture is of the Monte Carlo pool. You need to scroll through to see which ones are.
