HOT TOYS for CHRISTMAS 2006

I think the Fisher Price digital camera will be a big hit too! My daughter is getting one on Wednesday for her birthday, it seems to be cool!

I'll have to take a look at that one - I heard that Disney is suppose to have a digital camera out too for kids.

My husband went to Gamestop yesterday. They told him that the Wii would not be hard to get. He assured him that Nintendo is producing enough. I sure hope so, as that is the one big item my little guys want. :)

The employee at Electronics Boutique told me the same thing on Saturday. He said Nintendo is ahead of production and there will be plenty. He did say however, that PS3 will be another story.

This is great news! I hope that everyone that wants one can get one without having to buy it on Ebay.

My 7 YO can't wait for the Lego Star Wars II. Don't count out the younger ones on this one. The original is easy to play and the players break apart when they are killed - but just reform and you get to keep playing. Very good 1st game that improves gaming skills without too much disappointment.

I am so glad I read through this site. I am going to have to get the Cranium SuperFort for my DD,6, and DS,2.
I will try to check out the new Elmo Tuesday for my DS. He loves Elmo!

I've got it easy this year, my 3 are getting their first trip to Disney ever! Dec 15-22, that is their Christmas gift!

In a few years, when my children are older, this is what I plan to do. :thumbsup2

Atomicpark.com has them available for preorder. I don't really know about this company, but the slower shipping was something like $1.40.

I don't know anything about Atomicpark.com either, but I did notice that they charge your CC in full when you place your order.
Just something to be aware of.

They ARE taking pre-orders though, so worth looking into if you've got to have a system by Christmas.

please post and let us know how easy it is to work and the quality of the photos. I may look at this for my 5 yr old.

I know some of the posters on this thread were talking about the inflatable superman suit. I just saw them at Target for 18.98...regularly 24.98. Hope this helps. ;)

Thanks for the info - might have to go check it out. Though I think I may wait for GameStop to call . If you preorder a Wii Game they will call you to pre order a Wii when they start taking preorders.

After reading about the Elmo TMX I pre-ordered two of them for gifts...I just checked it out on MSNBC and they are VERY cute...I think that they are going to be a huge hit and will become hard to find!

Good luck to everyone with your holiday shopping.

I'm convinced that the toys that relate to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse are going to popular. My 3 year old LOVES that show. Also the toys are unisex so both boys and girls will want them.

I put a call out to all the Aunts, Uncles, and G-Parents to be on the look out for it already.

We saw the Clubhouse playset on the net, and my DD3 is already planning to ask Santa for this toy. From what I've seen online, it won't be in the stores until October, so I plan to get one early and return it if I can get a better deal.

Like many here, she also likes the "Barbie and the 12 Dancing Princesses"
movie and dolls.

ETA: I see another poster found some of the Clubhouse toys at Walmart - maybe it's just the online retailers I tried that won't have them until later. It makes sense that Walmart and TRU would have them first.

Are you talking about the new Tickle one? If so, it's at Target starting today for $39.99. I picked one up on the way to work. The only people buying them were the employees.

Did you see the video on GMA? I just checked it out online - it was hysterical! And I don't normally think the Tickle Me Elmos are all that great, but this one was pretty funny, and my dd saw the video with me and loved it.

Walmart, here I come...now I just hope they aren't out of them. I refuse to become a crazy parent like in the "Cabbage Patch" days...

I have a 7 yo dd and a 5 yo ds. I was thinking of just buying the first Lego Star Wars. Do you think the new one would be the better one to buy or should I save my $ and get the original?
