Just back from the most magical trip ever! Last year I posted that our trip was even better than the one the year before and would be almost impossible to top... I was wrong.
This year was GREAT!!! Someday I'll post a trip report, but for now... Haircuts on mainstreet, Co-pilot monrail to EPCOT, Characters, characters, and more characters, my 2 and 4 year old dancing with Woody at Goofys country dance jamboree, playing in the parade with the dwarfs, being interacted with at AK & MGM parades!! and at tarzan rocks, junior chef program, taking my 4 y/o on splash & big thunder mountians, mission space, mickeys philharmagic, Akersus, beaver tails, too many great experiences to mention, and one of my favorite highlights of the trip... Being in the Hot Seat at WWTBAM. I was 3 1/2 questions away from the trip! I was going for the 125,000 (which would have left me with 3 to go) and I used my 50/50 so I had a 1 in 2 shot at that one. But alas, I chose the wrong one
But I did get the hat, the polo shirt, lanyard and 10 pins!!! (and a 1099 claim form for $170 for my taxes!)
I got on by being the fastest finger. I read the question and knew B was first, but didn't even try to think about the rest. Just hit B then quickly hit the other 3 buttons. It worked! It was very nerve wrecking though. But I had a ton of fun.
Now the best part of my trip was my 4 year old walked over to me on the monorail (he always had to stand and "hold on to the handrail" even if we were the only ones in that car... Anyway, he hugged me and said "thank you for taking me to Disney World" i was moved to tears it was so cool! HE'S FOUR!!! I couldn't help but think how lucky I was.
Now for the real bummer and this occured to me on one of our last nights there, for the first time in 3 and 1/2 years I am not currently planning a trip to WDW. No reason to check the boards or discounts no calendar to stare at. There is definitly a void there.
