Well me+hubby are still sitting in the garden,there is a lovely breeze,not at all muggy like it has been the past few evenings out here.I personally don't think were going to get any of this torrential rain+thunderstorms were supposed to get tonight.x.

Been really hot here...I was hoping for rain tonight to clear the air but doesn't look like we're going to get any.
I hope I am able to get some sleep tonight....fingers crossed.

You're the same as Dh-he sleeps thru the most noisiest of thunderstorms,sleeps perfectly fine in this heat-and that is the exact same saying i say about him .x.

rember once in florida,just before a huracane hit(frances).one eveing there was over 50,000 lighting stricks in an hour.like wishes but no music

It was daytime at 8.55pm, by 9.00pm it had turned to night and we had a storm overhead! Got the second wave of storms now and the rain is very very heavy.

Only rained really heavy about 1-45am,for about an hour.No thunderstorms though.It did cool it down a little-slep much better.
It is baking already here again this morning.x.

It rained for a while in the night here but was still a bit humid first thing this morning, it's now overcast and a bit of a breeze....which is very welcome!

It s really hot here yesterday here too. We went to the park but could only really take it for 2 hours. Came home with 2 red faced children, despite coveringthem inftor 50 suncream after we ran out of water (brought 3 big bottles with us! lol).

It's cooler today but still nice to sit outside. We ate our dinner last night and breakfast this morning outside.

Today was nice most of the day but yesterday was scorchio! I was helping out at a holiday club and we went to the local 'maize maze' (a really good idea with 19 primary school children.. Not!! ) and some of the kids were burnt to a crisp in just a couple of hours =/ I like the warm weather but not when I have to work!

another hot day took ds to the orthadonistthis morning and it was trying to rain took him to ikea for brekkie ,then on to the transport museum then we went to see the dark knight came out and it was boiling went straight home into the paddling pool

Very nice day here too - just right temp IMO.
Mini athletics with girls at 0930 then we got home and it was too nice to stay in but paddling pool wasn't blown up so I packed a picnic and we went to local park that has a paddling pool and it was packed, then on to another sport session this afternoon - needless to say they are already in bed
