Resort Thread Disney's POP CENTURY Resort

Just got back from Pop. I had 3 standard rooms reserved, and we were given 1329, 30, and 31, which are showing as preferred on the map on p.1. No idea if this was an upgrade or a category change? They were conveniently close to Classic Hall.

Those rooms are listed as Standard on Touring Plans. Great location!

Hi All. Arrived yesterday at Pop for my 6 night stay. Had to move my April trip to now because of having eye surgery next month. The BB Genie granted my wish and I was able to move my BB April trip to now. I'm in a preferred room. I sent my snail mail to the Pop room assigners and not sure if it helped but I have an absolutely great room in building 5. I got all my requests which actually didn't include a building this time so getting building 5 was definitely an added bonus. I spoke with Meghan the front desk manager and made sure she thanks the room assigners. I'm celebrating my birthday also and mentioned that in my snail mail letter too. I have been two for two with sending the snail mail and will continue to do so for all my future Pop trips. Just wanted to share my great Pop experience and will continue to have another great stay here before returning home to my real life in PA. LOL. And want to thank both @scrappinginontario and @WEDWDW for the helpful tip about sending the snail mail. I can't prove it of course but I do believe it helped because these last two rooms are the best ones to date and I have had many many stays here at Pop. Love POP. Have a great weekend everyone I know I will.

Hi All. Recently back from another great stay at Pop. I enjoyed 6 nights in a preferred room in building 5. Great room great location. It's great to see Pop all refurbished and looking really good. I still miss the shadow boxes but after a few days the new lobby had grown on me so I like it just fine. All managers and cast members were nice and friendly. Talked with a few. Love the food court and spent more time than usual there. I just enjoy the atmosphere and everything I had to eat was really good especially the chocolate peanut butter milkshake without the bourbon of course. Oh and I was so glad to see lotion and soap pump bottles addition. Now I no longer have to bring my own pump soap. Yay. I'm not a bar soap fan. Weather was good and the skyliner was great no issues. Pools were busy although I didn't use them this trip. So another great stay at Pop in the books. Of course I am already counting the days till my October Halloween stay at Pop with my husband and some of my family. Looking forward to it and also looking forward to reading about everyone's upcoming Pop trips here. Oh and I forgot to mention that housekeeping was excellent also. No complaints with them. And to all staying at Pop this year ENJOY

We just returned from an epic 16 night trip, 14 nights at pop and 2 nights at POFQ. While POFQ was beautiful and we enjoyed our time there, our hearts are with POP! we absolutely love everything about it. It's just our jam

Hey @ExcitedForWDW we may have crossed paths and not even known it. LOL . I would have loved a 14 night stay at Pop. I have done that in the past but retirement has changed that for me. Glad you had a nice trip. And yes I agree I have had a few nice stays at FQ but at Disney there's no place like home and for me and my husband that will always be be POP.

POP has always had a special vibe and here came Skyliner to really make POP a top shelf Resort!

POFQ used to be my home away from home, my favorite resort. And then the Skyliner came along. Pop is just where we love to be. It gives us all the Disney feels. Glad you had a great trip!

I have always loved Pop and it's my favorite Disney resort but @WEDWDW and @tinkerbella16 I agree the skyliner has only made POP just soooo much better. And now with the updated refurbishment it just makes POP even better. I just love the vibe and atmosphere.

And the Artemis 2 Launch tomorrow reminds me that the "front" of POP is a groovy spot for watching rocket launcher.
