Hello! Does anyone happen to know if the hot fudge served at Disney is the same in all locations (with the exception of Ghirardelli and other 3rd party locations)? Im normally not a big hot fudge person but I LOVE the fudge at Beaches & Cream. I'm specifically wondering about Storybook Treats and the Plaza in MK and Hollywood Scoops @ DHS. Oh and if there's any opinion on the brownies at these locations, feel free to chime in on that as well
:thanks:

Interesting questions. I am a fellow hot fudge lover and have had sundaes from the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor and Storybook Treats and, in my opinion, the hot fudge wasn't quite as good, but I am wondering if it was situational more than the truth. After all, the ice cream is the same, seems likely the toppings would be too. Never had brownies, sorry. The hot fudge and brownie sundae at 50s Prime Time is good, have you tried that one?

Hope you get a definitive answer.

I haven't. I was deterred by the popcorn, candy toppings (didn't think of getting it without!). A friend of mine works at Beaches and I know they use Richardsons hot fudge there (and melted JIF peanut butter for all the no way Jose lovers out there). I would think it'd be the same across locations but then again I know the brownies and such vary so I wasn't sure if the rest would too.

We have found the brownies at The Plaza to always be a little hard to the point they almost seem stale. IMO they are overcooked and we also think the hot fudge there has a burnt like taste. We love the brownie and hot fudge at 50's and Beaches and Cream. We have not tried Storybook Treats.

We did not like the brownie at Sci Fi at all.

Bummer about the Plaza- but thanks for the heads up about there and Sci Fi! I've had Beaches & Cream but their brownie is more cakey than I like (most Disney brownies are. I like fudgy & gooey brownies!). Maybe Storybook or Hollywood Scoops is the way to go!
