Hot dogs.. What do you like on them?

Grilled mushrooms and onions. (Sounds gross, but is delish.)

I eat my hot dogs with ketchup only. My DH eats them with mustard, onions and coleslaw. The coleslaw is apparently a Quebecois-thing. Gross.

I prefer grilled and will use chow chow instead of slaw about half the time (or my homemade green tomato relish).

Wow! Someone looking for suggestions as to what to put on their hot dogs today? LOL.. Was quite surprised to see it back on page one after so many months..

Or is someone sick of winter and getting the itch to barbecue a few hot dogs?

Regardless of the reason, even "I" have seen a few responses here that I might try this summer.. Some very interesting combos..

spicy mustard and sweet relish, sometimes I add American cheese to my Not Dogs. Every once in a while I will do veg. Chili if I have some.

I'm surprised by the number of people here who have mentioned "cole slaw".. That's something I never, ever would have thought of - but might just give it a try..

I like mustard only or sauerkraut only on a hot dog, onions on a chili dog.

I will not eat a hamburger w/out mayo, but I have never heard of it on a hot dog!

I think I will try a slaw dog some day. Slaw dogs are southern!

slaw only. no mustard, don't like it. sometimes i eat chilli with the slaw if it's homemade.

this is a southern thing. my relatives from PA were freaked out by it but tried it and liked it very much.

I like my hot-dogs grilled with sauerkraut and Beer and Brat Horseradish mustard. YUM!

Usually just mustard or ketchup. Sometimes chili and cheese. But that's it. No pickles, kraut, onions, bacon or slaw.

Sometimes I just eat them plain, no bread or anything LOL I really do like hot dogs.
