Hot dogs.. What do you like on them?

It all depends on the mood.

There are times when I'm just a little K-up and mustard kinda girl. Other times, I need to add a little finely chopped onion to the mix. And there are times when I need to add coney sauce to it mix as well.

DH can't stand the smell of kraut, so the only time I get that on hot dogs, is if we go to one of the local coney stands and I order my dogs with it. And when I order kraut, that is all I want on the dog. Hold all the other toppings.

For some reason, the thought of ketchup on my hot dog always grossed me out. I have NEVER put ketchup on my dawgs.

Mustard is a MUST; sweet relish is good with it, as is onion ('course, I'll put onion on most anything, heh) Love cheese on a dog too!

I can probably make most people shake their head and wonder about me. I love a hot dog with chili, cheese, onions, sauerkraut and ketchup. Usually plain with ketchup and onions. I don't like mustard.

Most people around here eat them with slaw, mustard, ketchup, grilled onions & peppers, and/or relish (like my dh). DD is plain & ds is extra ketchup.

I can't stand mustard on hot dogs. Mustard is only for pretzels or in deviled eggs.

I love BBQ grilled dogs. The blacker the outsides the better! Yum!

Whenever I'm in the city (NYC of course) I love to go to Gray Papayas and get a hotdog with sour crout (sp?) and a pina colata smoothy. Yum!

Oh and it has to be Howard's relish...it's the best!

I don't eat them often - usually when I do I'm going through one of my phases where I want them for days on end - and then I lose my appetite for them entirely..

When I do eat them I have to have catsup, mustard, and corn relish on them..
