What has happened to the hot dogs? We have always have at least one when we are at WDW, but on our recent visit they are almost half the size that they used to be; but still served in the same bags! meaning that they look a bit lost.

That's funny because I thought they were too big for their bun. Of course that was the first time I had one. Plus I didn't like the wheat bun.
My DH though liked everything about it.

so disheartening to hear. We were so looking forward to trying these this coming visit. :sad2:

thanks for posting.

We liked the hot dogs, but the rolls fell apart on us. I wish they'd go back to using white bread which is more sturdy.

We were just there last week and ate at Casey's. The hot dogs seemed to be the same size to us and certainly tasted just as good. I love the fixin's bar and always load up on the 'kraut. :)

They still look good to me. It isnt a trip to DW if i don't have a hotdog from Caseys right before I leave for the airport to come home. I didn't do it the last time I was there because I was so sick

I'm going to have to buy hotdogs today when I go grocery shopping ... why did I click on this one? Hot dogs are my favorite! We like to go to Casey's and get our dogs then sit and wait for the parade ... yum yum!

They certainly look good!!
Wondering how they compare in taste to good hotdogs like Nathans or Hebrew National??

Hebrew National are certainly the best hot dogs around. Casey's really can't compare to that. They don't have the snap like a Nathans dog does either. However, Casey's is special because it's at WDW, the fixins bar rules and watching cartoons while eating a hot dog is just too fun.

we stopped at Casey's last Sunday (it's a WDW tradition for us) and thought the dogs were as good as always. The whole wheat buns weren't as bad as I had feared but they're much more dry than the white buns and I personally would prefer that they go back to those. There's no point in trying to make a hot dog healthy by serving it in a whole wheat bun.

They should offer you a choice of what bun you want. Guess I just have to try it for myself.
