Hey, everyone! 3 months from right now I'll be on the plane headed to WDW:).

If you want to really feel a workout, and do it in only 20 minutes, get Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred DVD. I got it for Mother's Day and I did levels 1 and 2 yesterday (40 minutes).....OMG, I am SO feeling it today:). It's circuit training (3 min strength, 2 min cardio, 1 minute abs). I totally stayed on the straight and narrow yesterday because I did NOT want to waste that workout!

How's everyone else doing?

doing ok here, I still have food issues. I need a better stress reliever. I'm ok until lunch, then it's non stop eating. And then after the kids go to bed, more stress relieving eating. I need to get over the fact that I'm no going to drop 8 pounds in a week like they do on the show. Who really has time to work out 6 hours a day?

I haven't seen the Jillian video, I need to go to Target today so I will look there. Hopefully they will have the Biggest Loser Cardio Max back in stock. And I need more weights.

And to boot my throat hurts! ERGH! I hope I'm not getting sick!!

I am still having a tough time doing the DVDs. I can get my walking in, when it's not raining and doing the treadmill when it is. I just really hate the DVDs. Which is so weird because when I was teen, I did the Jane Fonda work out ALL the time. :confused3 Not sure if I was always this lazy or it's crept up on me.

I'm not doing great with food, but I am getting better. I'm spending more $$ on single serving sizes, which does translate into more landfill stuff, but it's easier to keep track of my eating this way. I'm less likely to eat more than one serving and I really have to to want before I'll open it.

Went to the doctor today. I am not into fasting. Glad I don't have to do it too often. I'll get the blood work results back next week when we sit down to discuss them. The good news, not having breakfast or coffee this morning, I weighed in at 119! :woohoo: I called my OB/GYN and back in August I was 130 and I know I hit 134-136 during the Christmas goodie eating. I'm so glad I took it slow to lose the weight. I don't see any extra skin hanging. I don't have the money to have that removed. :sad2: Nor do I want to after watching one too many TV shows about it.

BAMB, do you like the rabbit food? When my sister was trying to curb her appetite, she would munch on carrots & celery instead. Course, dipping that into Ranch dressing kinda defeats the purpose. :rotfl2: But maybe if you used the low calorie kind. Not low fat. Don't do low fat. You want to feel full after you eat it. Low fat is another one of those things that tricks your body into thinking it hasn't eaten enough.
Or maybe chew gum? I've been chewing a lot more gum and I was never a big gum chewer.

We can do this.

I do eat carrots on occasion, but it does not curb the chocolate fix.

I was good today! We were out and KFC was calling my name but I decided to come home and eat a WW frozen meal, Fire grilled chicken.
I did stop at Starbucks though and get a Carmel Macchiato, but I have switched from Venti to a tall non fat, so that cut out a bunch of calories right there. I think I'm going to go back to 1 on Sat only though.

i was doing good but then put on three pounds this week! I will be good..I will be good....

I DID IT!!!! I DID IT!!! I DID IT!!!! :yay:

not one single snack today!!! No grazing!!! :woohoo:

I figure on a bad night I can consume about 500-600 calories after the kids go to bed. I'm super proud, I'm starving, but I'm proud! Here's hoping for a repeat performance tomorrow.

My throat still hurts and I have been downing throat drops all night to keep the pain at bay. I did wish for ice cream at one point but I just grabbed some super cold water out of the fridge and that helped. Now I am off to take some sinus meds and I am headed to bed!

I have a sinking suspicion the kids will be late for school tomorrow too.
Unless I feel a thousand times better by 7.

so far so good again today. DISing to keep me from grazing, then I'm going to clean the kitchen if DS7 ever finishes emptying the dishwasher.

breakfast:
tall non fat caramel Macchiato - calories 140, fat grams 1, fiber grams 0, WW points 3
reduced fat blueberry coffee cake - calories 320, fat grams 6, fiber grams 1, WW points 7. That was bad! so much for low fat! Need to do research for the best food there.

Lunch - subway 6" turkey on honey oat (usually get whole wheat but they were out), lettuce tomato, no mayo, no cheese - calories 280, fat grams 4.5, fiber 5, WW points 5
drink - water

dinner I will have a WW meal - pineapple beef teriyaki - 6 points
drink - water
I will have 5 points left over!!!

I was good today till we went to class...then I had a flatbread sammie at duncan donuts...bad...and the vanilla iced coffee...it was bad...I mean really bad tasting, not having that again... and the girl was RUDE...so REALLY not going there again. Next week I'm planning better and having a good dinner b/f we leave for me and DS16...

I finally broke down today and bought a scale. When I started my Weight Watchers adventure back in 2004, I didn't want to own a scale because I know me...and I knew I would be obsessively getting on the scale to check my progress. So I limited myself to once a week at the center weigh ins.

Well, I don't like going to the meetings anymore. The leader has gained back a significant amount of weight and I am sure she is well over her goal weight. Normally they don't let leaders keep their jobs in this situation, but she has had medical issues AND she does about a million meetings a week so she'd be hard to replace. So, she isn't a role model for someone like me, trying to maintain my loss. I've tried other meetings and they just don't do it for me.

So, I got the WW scale at Costco today for $28. I decided that the time has come to GET obsessive and LOSE the weight. I'm going to roll out of bed every morning and get on the scale. I have 12 pounds to lose in 89 days!

Kim I have the same scale and I like it. BTW, stepped on mine today and I am down 5 lbs since last week. YAY!!

I have had 3 great days in a row, no snacking!

:cool1: :cool1: That is GREAT news, BAMB!!! I hope to have a great week this week and be able to tell you all about it a week from today:rotfl:

I think you will do great and reach your goal, no problem. I'm pleased with my progress so far, and I have not been working out. Between the rain and being sick I was just not in the mood. Last night was great, I only had 1 craving and it was because I saw the stuff in the pantry when I put the recycling away but I was like, Nah. Stepping on the scale every day has been my motivation. We'll see how well I do this weekend. DH might want to go out so I need to do some homework. I really want sushi but I'm not sure what to pick and what not to pick.

California roll (4 pieces, 1" high, 1 3/4" diameter) 3 points
maki(vegetables and rice wrapped in seaweed) 4 pieces, 2 points
nigiri (sliced raw fish over rice) 4 pieces, 2 points
nori maki (raw fish and rice rolled in seaweed) 4 pieces 2 points

I don't do sushi, but this is the list from my WW points book...hth

thanks Kim, we ended up with Ruby Tuesday. BLECH! I know I blew my points for the weekend, but Monday is a new day. I think I will be better off not stressing over what I eat on the weekends. DH is home for this week, but will be gone for 3 weeks in June so I will stock up on my WW meals for when he is gone. I will be doing them this week at night too. Sat I was down another 1/2 lb. I plan on starting up the exercise since he will be home too.

BTW the Yacht Club has a health center for anyone who is interested, I want to either use it in the AM or walk the Boardwalk before scrapping.

ETA: can anyone recommend a good (accurate) pedometer?
