Does anyone know if there are set hours to see the horses/maybe take a barn tour over at Fort Wilderness? If no Barn Tour, are we able to just see them in the corral or walk thru the barn on our own? Most importantly, are they open on Easter Sunday? We are thinking of heading over on Easter morning but don't want to trek all the way from the Boardwalk Resort if they aren't open...

Thanks in advance!

According to their website (https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/recreation/tri-circle-d-ranch/):

Stroll through the stables to see Cinderella’s Ponies and the majestic horses of Main Street, U.S.A.. You can watch the blacksmith make horseshoes and affix them to horses’ hooves, and discover the Dragon Calliope—the horse-drawn musical instrument that Walt Disney purchased for the Mickey Mouse Club Circus Parade at Disneyland Park in the 1950s.

Animal lovers of all ages will delight in the variety of breeds that live at Tri-Circle-D Ranch, including Appaloosas, Arabians, Belgians, Clydesdales, paint horses, Percherons and quarter horses, plus Shetland ponies.
They have horseback riding and pony rides available that day, so I'd say there's a good chance that you can visit them. Still, you could always call them (just to be sure).

I would recommend you head on over to the 'camping at Disney' board (scroll down on the main screen) to ask any ?? pertaining to FW. Although they are a 'resort' they have their own section on the Dis. That's where you'll find regular posters for that resort. They'll answer your ??.

Not sure of any set hours, but I would say as long as it’s daylight you are more than welcome to go and see the horses at the barn. The ponies will be outside and the bigger working worsens will be inside, or out getting a bath.

If you have the opportunity, the horseback riding experience was wonderful. No experience needed and the handlers/cms were excellent. We greatly enjoyed our experience.
