Horseback riding/Pony rides-cost?

I heard that the pony rides are $3, but how much is the horseback riding? (WDW website says they have a 45 min ride) I also read somewhere that you have to be 48 " tall to ride - so I guess they go by height rather than age. Any other info anyone has on the riding would be appreciated!

When I called they said the kids have to be at least 9 years old. I don't remember the price {my head was spinning with info, lol} but I want to say it was around $50.

I just called earlier this week and signed us up for horseback riding when we go next month. The cost is $42/person. She told me about the pony rides for the little kids but I forgot to ask how much those cost, so I'm glad to hear they are very inexpensive.

I think the rides are about 45 min long. According to the schedule she gave me, they schedule them every 1 1/2 hours.

Just to clarify, the Pony rides are $4 and run from 10am to 5pm daily.

The pony rides have a weight limit of 80 pounds. For the horses you have to be at least 9 years old.
Last year my 6 yr. old weighed 83 pounds and they let him ride the pony since he was too young for the horse (he is well over 48").
