Horseback riding at HHI?

Does anyone know if you go horseback riding at HHI? If so, is this something you can do through Disney or do you have to go somewhere else?

Disney no longer offers horseback riding on the HH activity schedule, but they will be happy to give you the name and phone numbers of area stables so that you can arrange it yourself.

There are I believe 3 stables, one offers riding on the beach. I posted recently about this but am not where I can look up the info again. You might do a search with the words stables, Dean and possible Lawton as I think that's one of the stables. This was a post about HH and I think it was a thread about a month or so ago. Go to Tommy's HH page and you should be able to snake out the info from the links as well. Good luck and let me know if you don't find it, I can search more when I return.

It appears there are at least four stables with riding academy features. Lawton Stables is within Sea Pines plantation.
