I love the Landau Carraige

as i think its got a very vintage look to it, very elegant. It looks even more striking when being pulled by such a large horse

.
My df asked me if i wanted Cindys coach but after seeing the price i just could nt justify it, i can see why so many brides use it though as it is stunning. I think the Landau fits more with our wedding plus i think it looks just as stunning as Cindys plus its the bit cheaper too
I know still $1700 is considered pricey but to me it ll be worth every penny as i will get so much pleasure in arriving to my wedding in such an amazing way
I don't think you'll regret a single penny! But I am a bit biased, of course!

And I forgot to tell you this before, but the only reason the top is on the carriage is because it was supposed to rain (which it did!) You can definitely have the carriage without the top if you want to, which is so pretty!
And I agree--Cinderella's coach is absolutely breathtaking, but we couldn't get it at SBP, and like you said, the landau was just so "us."

And just so beautiful...
I know, it really is beautiful isn't it?
Eeek will have to wait and see, I already said no video and we have that now and no photography for our at home reception yet now I'm going to start looking into that.
At home cake will be the next thing, do we need it? Probably
So do the groomsmen, groom, mums, guests etc get themselves to SBP, and then bride and dad arrive in the landau? What about 2 bridesmaids, is there room for them? looks like there may be on the opposite side.
Who is the additional guy sat on the top in your last photo? Where did he come from?! Is that your driver in all the other piccies? Did you choose what colours he wore or is it just standard?
Well, we could have had room for more people in the coach, but with my dress and knee room, it would have been a very tight fit!
There are two men that operate the carriage--the driver and the "footman," who helps you in and out of the carriage. But when you are moving, they both sit atop and "drive." I did not have any option of selecting what they wore, but I never asked. They looked wonderful in the long-tailed tuxes they wore--very handsome and elegant, imo.
As for my husband, officiant (who came down with us for the wedding as he is a very close family friend,) and the groomsman, they were all walked down to SBP by the wedding coordinator. Then she came back (I believe--I was busy having pictures taken!!) and got our guests, and she walked them down to SBP.
That was when we were getting the girls' flowers, taking pics with the carriage and with my bridesmaids, and then my maids walked down to SBP while my dad and I were loading into the carriage and taking some pics.
And I know
exactly what you mean about budgeting for your at-home reception. As much as we tried, it just ended up getting out of control!! But we had an absolute and total blast!!

It was so great to get to celebrate with the friends who weren't able to come to Disney.
