Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides

I'd love to do a carriage ride and I see that they do them in Fort Wilderness and Port Orleans — Riverside. Has anymore done either of these and what was your experience? In your opinion, which resort would have the best view for a ride?

We did the carrage ride at fort wilderness and it was great. We were there at halloween and a bunch of the campsites were decorated for the season. We loved going through the woods and love the fort wilderness atmosphere. It gets my vote for sure. Port orleans is also beautiful. We've stayed there 3 times we like it so much but i think the trails are nicer for the carriage in fort wilderness. I would also definately book ahead. When we went in a quiter time people were looking for walk ups and there were none available

We've done the carriage ride at Port Orleans. We really enjoyed it, very relaxing and a neat experience. We love the view at PO but I do have to agree with PP that the views are probably better at FW.
