Any done it. My 13 year old DD and I are wanting to do this while DH and DD go golfing one afternoon. Any info would be appreciated.
THanks

A very basic all-walk ride through the wooded areas. The guides told us it's best to do it in the early morning if you can because you might spot some wildlife.

My son and I did this in November. You can choose to wear a helmet ( which we did since both of us never rode a horse before). Cost of the ride was not bad at all, I believe it was like $34 a person. I forgot how long it lasted, we had alot of fun. The guides will call you by your horses name, because they dont know yours and it's easier to call the horses name out, if you need to control the horse better. The trail was nice, we saw alot of wild deer, and a bunny. I did bring my digital camera with us, but since it was my first time, and not used to holding on with one hand, I didnt get to take any pics. :guilty:
BUT, I think it is worth it. One guide rides in the front of the line and the other guide stays towards the back, just in case. The horses were calm, except for my sons for a minute. She decided to try to pick a fight, as the guide told us. With who I wasnt sure, but the guide quickly told her to stop it and she did. They listened very well. We cant wait to go back to do this again.
Have fun!

If you don't ride often it is a nice ride. However, if you ride often it can be a boring ride. More like a pony ride for adults on a nice trail.
