We are checking in to Pop the day after tomorrow, and with all resorts at 100% capacity I am thinking we are stuck there. SO...
I am going to go with the explanation that SOMEHOW there was a miscommunication between the front desk and the housekeepers. The housekeepers must not have realized the people were checking out - they made the bed but didn't change the linens. I actually came up with that last night after I first read the post.
I feel better now. Hands over ears saying "LA-LA-LA!" I can't hear you telling me that's not what happened!!
I am one of those who won't let DS put his face on the bedspread - I am pretty phobic about hotel beds. Perhaps that is a good thing for us! ICK!

Sorry to hear about that unfortunate discovery. I kind of have to agree that I probably would have asked to have been moved. YUCK!
I am glad you at least were compensated for your problem. And you are right... that is DEFINITELY NOT up to Disney Standards.
Hopefully, it was a one time occurance, and you can be sure that the proper people will hear about it. Still....ewwww!

). My daughter was getting ready to go to sleep, pulled back the covers and there were a bunch of hairs on the pillow and in the sheets. Looks like a man probably got a haircut and then went to bed without showering. It was gross. We called the front desk and someone showed up with fresh sheets and comped the room for the night without even looking at the sheets. I called him in to the room, though, to see exactly what I was talking about and he was disgusted.
