I have a folder, as many of you probably do, with all my Florida stuff in. Flight details, insurance, tickets, maps, itinerary, phone numbers, addresses, prices of everything etc.

Twice now I've had a dream where I've got the Florida (yay!) and have forgotton my folder (boo!) so no tickets, no numbers or directions and we end up screwed! lol

Does anyone else have horrible dreams like this or am I just obsessed with Florida?! lol

yes! I have dreams where I forget my ADR numbers all the time. Another time I had a dream that we didn't go on any rides or see any shows I can't remember why I just remember feeling really upset about it. Going to DLRP next week and had a dream I forgot to take DD to Cafe Mickey for her birthday meal.

As the holiday gets closer I always have nightnares about it, last year I kept dreaming that I hadn't packed and I suddeny realised that I only had 30 mins to pack before we had to leave for the airport!! :upsidedow

I don't have bad dreams, but I do end up waking up at 4am wondering if I've got enough sun tan lotion - crazy :confused3 :confused3 :rotfl2:

Don't worry, you're not alone. It's all part and parcel of the excitement/anticipation. I am having dreams now, even with just under 9 months to go. I put them down to underlying worries/fears and wanting everything to go according to plan.

I think the worst dream I have had is one where we were trying to get to Soarin' first thing, just after Epcot had opened. For some reason, though, the stairs were like wet cement and I just couldn't get down them to join the rest of the family in the line. It was extremely surreal and quite funny in the cold light of day but I remember waking up feeling incredibly stressed and worried.

I also had a dream just recently (probably as a result of my underlying fear that I won't be able to book Animal Kingdom Villas at the 7-month mark) that I went to Animal Kingdom Lodge with Theresa (Latte Lover) and it was phenomenal - nothing like the real Disney World one. There were waterfalls everywhere and really lush vegetation - but not an animal in sight :rotfl2: Goodness knows why I was with Theresa (and no sign of our husbands or families) - not that that is necessarly a bad thing ;)

I think they are down to worries to especially when you plan so much. When I was Pregnant I kept having dreams of babies being injured and before I started uni I had dreams of being in my old school teachers office and him having one of my old school books open shouting "look at this, you are stupid".:)

Sounds like a great holiday to me, Joh!

I have the "packing dream" all the time, usually when I'm really busy and have a lot on my mind, and always many times just before a holiday. My dream is similar to Jens - loads of packing to be done and a plane/train/bus to catch very soon. Often in the dream, we're not even going on holiday - sometimes we're packing because there's a flood/fire/plague/terrible disaster coming!

I think it is just normal for the person who has to do the most organising for the holiday.

I had one last night, it was just me and hubbie going away and I felt bad ringing the lads up at home when we were in the airport. Then I get to the check in desk and they said the photo in the passport wasn't me and I couldn't go. Needless to say I woke up at this stage.:)

Put it in your suitcase now. I put our folder in my d/d's princess trolley - it wasn't my responsibility then!! :rotfl2:
