I was on the Creative Xpress website. Guess what?! They have the Sizzix Sidekick for $25 !!!! Plus you can use your 50% off coupon which makes it $12.50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Completely affordable. I wish I would've seen this before I bought the big Sizzix. Oh well, hopefully this will help others!

Good...I'm glad it helped someone. I tell ya, I was even thinking about it just because of the price...I don't need it though...really...I don't. I have the big one with the adaptor....I don't need it.

LOL...well, I wasn't going to get it, but i'm new to scrapping and have nothing to work with! At least i'll have the machine, now i've got to find some good deals on all the stuff to go with it! lol

I'm fairly new to scrapping too. You'll love the machine. Keep an eye on their website. They can have some really good deals. Or even check ebay.

Becky~ Keep checking back. I saw that earlier too. They had them, then didn't, then did. So I'd keep looking (even if they don't e-mail you it is in stock). Earlier today they said 21 people were on the waitlist, then they showed in stock. I don't get it.

coupon is available on their website....on the home page it gives you the code to type in. Hope this helps....you can use it on every order you place. Wow!!

Someone has the regular machine on sale this week for $39.99 but then you pay tax on it...plus you have to lug it out to your car. If you're thinking of getting it, I'd use them! "them" meaning the Web site....I've always been terrible with antecedents

MichelleB - The Sidekick needs adapters to use other dies like Quikutz. If you go to the Sizzix.com site they'll tell you what all will work with it. The adapters evidently don't last too long as they sell them in packs of 10 (I think) - but I've heard they are reusable.

Also, it sounds like you don't have to buy the sidekick to use the sizzlets... Is that right??

To use the Sizzlets with the original Sizzix you need the converter that sells for about $14. (ACM & JoAnns both had coupons this week for 40% off.)

The Sizzlets alphabets run $149.99 at JoAnns, ACM & Mikes. Even with the 50% coupon (which doesn't appear too often) you're still doing better with Creative Express. Shipping for my alpha was $5.95, but tax in PA would have been $9! So for me it would have cost $84 plus 2 gallons of gas to drive to Mikes to get it with a 50% coupon.....much better deal here!

Well, I know so many here like Girls Are Weird but when I first say it I have to admit it wouldn't have been my first choice. Then someone cut a couple titles for me with it & I have to say that I love it!! In fact I like it so much that I think it will be on my Christmas wish list!
