Hopping to Epcot after MK early closing

I'm planning to go to MK in May on one of the days they close at 4:30pm for a CM event. I'll be parking at TTC that morning and am thinking about hopping to Epcot afterward. Would I have any trouble leaving my car at TTC after 4:30 and riding the Epcot monorail back to get my car after Epcot closes?

This shouldn't be an issue as you're going to TTC and not Magic Kingdom after park close. The official monorail page says the monorail runs until 1 hour after the latest park closing.

There will be plenty of MK area resort guests returning via monorail from Epcot after it closes, and everyone has to get off at the TTC. So you’ll be fine.

I'm glad you asked that question as I was wondering the same thing! Going to MK 5/15.

on that day bet you are not the only one doing that. guess there will be a line to get on at end of EPCOT day

If by chance the monorail shuts down, a bus will be provided back to TTC. Disney buses run until all guests are clear of the parks. The Springs is the only location that transportation has a time that they stop running.
