Hopping from MK to AK

I'm staying offsite, so will park my car at the TTC first thing in the morning. When it comes time to hop to AK, what makes the most sense? Just monorail back to the TTC and drive, or get a bus from the MK and come back to get my car after park closing? Or walk to the Contemporary to get a bus? I don't mind an extra step at the end of the evening if it means I can be more efficient when the parks are open, but I also know that Disney transportation isn't always the fastest when going park to park!

Good question! MK is open until 8, with EMH until 10. I'll be closing down AK at 8, with a good chance that I'll be in line for FoP when the park closes, which means I may not be out of the park until 9 or later.

Take the monorail to the TTC and just drive. It’s way easier to just walk to your car at the end of the day and just go, than to take transportation back to more transportation to get to your car.
I only use Disney transportation if I am staying onsite, the drive from one park to another is really easy.

I would park at AK in the morning and bus directly to MK. Do what you planned, bus back to AK, enjoy - and your car is rightthere when you want to leave.

I've got a pre-park-opening breakfast in the MK, so I'll definitely have to at least start the day at the TTC!

Fair enough. I wasn't sure how much time I would lose between monorail, driving, parking, and walking from the AK lot compared to just taking a bus straight to the gate. But fingers crossed, it's only supposed to be a "2" day at AK, so hopefully I won't have to park in Timbuktu!
