What do you think is more valuable/worth while to add to tickets...extra days or hoppers? For example, would you rather have 5-day PH tickets or 7-day non-hoppers?

With the 5-day PH tickets, we would spend our other 2 days going to a water park one day and visiting KSC one day, followed by dinner at resorts, Boardwalk or DTD with no park entry those days.

With 7-day tickets, we would still do a water park and KSC, but we would probably go into Epcot or MK those nights.

Thanks!

Im not a huge fan of hopping so I would add the extra days on to the ticket. If you like to plan your trip out a lot you will probably do better with extra days, but if you want to wing it or go to a potentially crowded park you may prefer a hopper!

We like to hop, but I think for the OP it depends on when they are going. If it's a busy time, the ability to hop to another park when the one you are in gets crowded can be a real bonus.

Those extra two days are only around $12 each, so depending on how many people you have, it's not that much more than the 5 day with hopping. You're basically comparing $25 vs. $265 add on price. I would vote for both lol.

I don't know what kind of tickets the OP will have, but:

If a guest already has the Water Park Fun and More option, adding the Hopper option costs $27.69 per person.

If a guest already has the Hopper option, adding the Water Park Fun and More option costs $27.69 per person.

Regardless of the above,
adding two days to a 5-day ticket costs $21.30, per person.

I guess since you are planning on going to KSC and a waterpark anyway, decide if you really want to go to parks at the end of those days (and thus if the 2 extra days are needed). On the other 5 days, decide if you really need/want to go to more than one park each day. Are some parks open much later than others so you might want to switch and go elsewhere later that same day? Or do you think you might just need a few hours one day to finish up one park and then could go to a different one later?

Here is my recommendation. Get 5 days without park hoppers. If you suddenly want another day or two in the park, buy it at the resort or as you walk into the park (it'll be $10 per person to add a day). If you suddenly need or will use park hopper, add it on at the park entrance you need it at.

If you don't need either, then you just saved a lot of money. We do this every trip and love it. You can easily add on more days for low cost but taking unused days to hard tickets is still money spent you could have used elsewhere.

EDITED To clarify: 5 days is when the discount for all additional days is $10 per person per day up to 10 days. Less days for someone thinking of getting only 2 or 3 will find it more than $10 to add on days up to 5 then it goes to $10 per day

The extra day will only cost $10/each. You could always add it when you need it. I kept adding days to our tickets, just because I really wanted some fish and chips on our non-park day; or something silly like that. I had to get into Epcot.

I never hopped until we had annual passes, and even then, only because we were visiting some friends with a completely different touring style. I think hopping is overrated, but, if you're already paying for the hotel, you might as well stop in the parks.
