How many days do you think you will want in the parks? Will you want to do the waterparks & DisneyQuest? With this information we can give you better advice :)

2.with living in the accomadation on the resort do we get a discount on the tickets? I'm afraid not, that is if you are staying onsite at Disney.

3. my hubby is in the raf do any of you's know if he gets a military discount on the tickets ?
I don't believe there is any discount at Disney (WDW) but I'm sure someone will confirm. The good news is that you will get into Seworld absolutely free! I'm hoping Joh (wilma-bride) sees this thread as she is the expert in this area :) This thread may help

Hope that helps for the moment - where are you staying at Disney?

Welcome to Trip Planning and please ask anything you would like to know about - we are a a friendly bunch and normally someone knows the answer :)

hiya miffy thanxs for replying we are staying at the all stars movie resort we got a bargin i think 2 adults and 2 kids flying from inverness to london gatwick then to florida for £2500 all in
the hubbie says that we will want to do all the disney attractions but not bothered about the water parks

Hi misspickle and welcome to the DIS

You're certainly in the right place to get lots of helpful advice. Everyone is really friendly and know loads about WDW and Orlando.

1. What would be the best tickets to buy? (so many choices) and where is the best place to get them

If you're not bothered about doing the water parks then your best bet would be to get the Magic Your Way (MYW) tickets, where you can pick how many days' entry you want to the parks. If you plan to spend all 14 days of your holiday at Disney World, it may work out more economical to buy an Annual Pass. If you want to visit Universal, Islands of Adventure or Sea World, then you might be better off with a 7 Day MYW and tickets to the other places.

2. With living in the accommodation on the resort do we get a discount on the tickets?

Assuming that you're staying on-site at Disney, you don't get a discount on the entrance tickets but you do get other perks such as Extra Magic Hours and free transport between the Disney Parks, as well as the use of Disney's Magical Express from MCO Airport to your hotel (currently free but there is a rumour Disney may charge in the future for this service)

3. my hubby is in the raf do any of you's know if he gets a military discount on the tickets ?

As a member of HM Forces, your husband would be eligible for free entry to either Sea World or Busch Gardens courtesy of the 'Here's to the Heroes' programme. Karen posted the link to that information on her reply so I won't go through it all again here. Unfortunately, British troops are not eligible for discounts at Disney or Universal Studios (at the moment).

If you want to know anything else or need us to explain anything, feel free to ask :)
