hopper pass confusion???

ok, i'm new to the board and never been to disney world, that said, i do understand the concept of 'hopper tickets' but i have a question..here goes;
I was told that with a hopper pass i can go from park to park on the same day, but if i return to the first park i visited when i started it will count as a second day, is this true??
In other words if i start a the magic kingdom, then hop over to epcot, then to animal kingdom..and then decide i want to go back to where i started at the magic kindom..this will count as a second day.
any one know the answer to this for sure?

You can hop to all the four major parks as many times as you want in one day and it will only count as one day. If you have pluses, every time you visit a waterpark or PI, it will use a plus.

However, I do recall from our trip in Nov. '97 that one needed to have their hand stamped upon leaving the first park in order to gain admission to the next park when hopping.

The Hopper passes are for UNLIMITED admission to all 4 theme parks, so no, if you went to MK in the morning, left to go to MGM in the afternoon, and then went back to MK for the evening, then it would still all be just one day off your pass.

But, make sure you get your hand stamped leaving the 1st park if you want to re-enter another park later that day. Even if you don't think you will be going anywhere, unless it is close to closing, get your hand stamped anyway, just in case you change your mind. It is invisible, so you won;t be walking around with a noticable mark on your hand.
