If I buy a 5 day park hopper plus pass do I have to use the plus part of that (TL nd BB) during that 5 day window? It seems so, but I want Expert advice :)

100 days to go

Disneyland 6/87, 7/88, 12/90
Disneyland Hotel 6/92
WDW All Star Music 12/99

No you don't. You could use those "plus" options on the 6th and 7th day if you wish. And unused "plus" options also carry forward like unused park days.

Hope this helps!

I work for AAA and we sell the hopper tickets there. The way it is presented to our members is that a 5 or 6-day "plus" pass can actually be extended for 7 or 8 days.

Let me explain. Say you buy a 6 day pass. For 6 days you can go to the four main parks and are allowed a "one time" entry(twice) into a water park. Well, you use your pass for 6 days to do MK, AK, DS, and Epcot. After that your 6 day pass can be use for two more days "IF" you spend the whole day in a water park.

So:

day 1: Magic Kingdom
day 2: Magic Kingdom hop to Epcot
day 3: Disney Studios hop to Epcot
day 4: Animal Kingdom
day 5: Disney Studios
day 6: Epcot
this will complete your "6" day hopper pass
then to extend using your plus days
day 7: whole day at typoon lagoon (w/o the ability to hop)
day 8: whole day at Blizzard Beach(w/o the ability to hop)

I know this is very confusing, they had to explain it to me 3 or 4 times before I got the picture.

If you need help, e-mail me and I'll try to explain it differently.

With the 6 day hopper plus, can we do this?

Day 1: MK
Day 2: Epcot
Day 3: Water Park (one option)
Day 4: MGM
Day 5: Animal Kingdom
Day 6: Water Park (option 2)
Day 7: MK plus hop to epcot
Day 8: MGM

Or whatever... Or do we have to use the regular days first, then the options? Thus if we go to a water park on day 3, we lose a day in the major theme parks?

Thank you for your help.
Kris

BelleandtheBeast gives a terrific scenario of using the Hopper Plus Pass. Thanks B'n'theB! :)
Of course if it would be MY family, we would use up 4 park days, go to a water park one day, take on "off" day for the pool and shopping, and go home with one park day and one plus day. A guarantee that we will go back again! :D

...you can use your plus features whenever you like. You could go to Typhoon Lagoon the first day, Pleasure Island the first night and still have your 5 park days left for WHENEVER you want to use them. The days that you have purchased NEVER expire (until you USE them of course! :D)
Hope that this helps! :)

This is SO great to know!! We spent a full day at Blizzard Beach last winter, I know that Typhoon Lagoon will take at Least twice as long to do thoroughly in the summer. :)

99 days...ooooh down to double digits! :D

Thanks for the information. We are splitting our stay between the Swan and AKL and have been trying to figure out what to do about passes. You have answered several of my questions.
