I have our summer flights plugged in and it's stressing me out LOL

Wondering if any of you have had success with Hopper. It is telling me that the price will drop and not to buy right now, but how accurate is that?

Would love to hear any success stories and if I should stick with it or look elsewhere to keep track of ticket prices.

I have had success with hopper but they do not show Delta on the app and I found cheaper prices on delta then are currently available via other airlines so for my next trip I booked as soon as I saw a price I felt was reasonable on delta (through Flight Network)

I was tracking a few different options on Alaska. Hopper was telling me to wait. One evening I decided to check Alaska's website and saw a fairly significant price decrease from the previous day. I started the booking process and remember thinking "hmmm, I didn't get notified by Hopper" but by the time I finished booking I had indeed received a Hopper notification, albeit a bit delayed. The fares stayed at the same price for a few days. So, it worked, but in this case I already knew :)

eta: in this case the price dropped about 5 months out and I had started tracking about 7 months out.

I signed up for Hopper recently and hope for Alaska flights!!

I have a fixed date and only want direct flights, so I have found Hopper not so helpful. It would be more useful if you are flexible with flight options.

I set up an alert on Hopper for an exact flight, it kept emailing me when it went up or down. One day it reached the price we were comfortable with, so I knew to book. Worked great!

Hopper told us to book and said it was a fantastic rate (which it was) - so far so good! The rate has since gone up :) The other date we were looking at Hopper predicted the price would rise as well and it did.

I tried the Hopper app and decided it wasn't for us. However, let me clarify that by adding that we travel with a small child who does very poorly with early/late departures and therefore are locked into midday flight times both ways. The app told us multiple times to book as the price was not going to get better, but the flights were all at insane hours, so it didn't end up being viable or useful for us.

Ok, I just checked, I used Hipmunk, not Hopper. I liked how I could set it for the exact flight I wanted and then it emailed me when it went up or down...
