Hoping Typhoon Lagoon Re-Opens Soon As Well

Arriving June 9 and really hoping Typhoon Lagoon is open by then. Been to both water parks in the past but much prefer Typhoon. It is kinda cool though, that Blizzard Beach re-opened today as it’s my birthday.

I’m hoping for the same. YDD wants to go to Tyhpoon Lagoon, not Blizzard Beach, on our June trip.

I'm not counting on TL to be open this year. I am assuming they are treating opening like they do the off-season refurbishment. They alternate, leaving one park open. I believe that until they are back at full capacity, they will only run 1 water park.

I also prefer TL to BB but yeah, I can see the logic behind only one being open this year.

I actually think the opposite. I was hoping that they would decide to open it after BB been open a few weeks and open near Easter. But I believe it will be open in May for sure.

As of about one week ago, people were reporting that Blizzard Beach was not particularly crowded.

Presumably, BB has to get crowded before they open TL.

Has anyone been to BB within the last week?

I went on Monday 3/29 and it was great. not a lot of people. However I heard they turned people away on Wednesday due to being at capacity.
