Hoping the Rain Stays Away-We're Going Back in May-TR started

Thanks for all the 100 day and double digits dancing!!

Now I need some help on picking a park bag. I have a pink Crocs waterproof backpack that can be used as a sling type. I really liked it but now an needing a bag for my camera as well. So, do I buy an additonal bag-find something that will fit in the backpack or??? I really like the VB bags-just not sure which one to get. Any suggestions??

Can I be the first to wish you happy 99 days?:woohoo::dance3:

Well it is 99 here on the East Coast.. the same time zone as Disney! ;)

I am all for carrying as little as possible in the parks, so I would want something to fit inside of another bag rather than carrying multiples. I don't have any VB bags so I can't help you there. I know Becky can help you in that department.

I wouldn't want to be saddled with more than one bag in the parks. I would try and find a bag that will fit inside your backpack. Or get a camera bag that your DH can carry.

I am back and had a WONDERFUL time with Jordan ,Winkers and Blue !!! The TRs will be hilarious as we were certinly all being SILLY GOOSES!!!!

Hi Mary!

I agree with SoonerGirl, the less bags I have to carry the better-and if you can get Jeff to pack it then double bonus right . I really liked your bag last year. It's cute and functional. If you can find a way to fit your camera in it I would use it-especially since it's waterproof. :thumbsup2

As for VB, I'm a backpack fan but my girls are constantly on the go and it keeps my hands free to wrangle them when needed. I just put my camera in it and go. I had a camera bag the first year but it was kind of a pain to pack two bags on every single ride when we rode as a family. :goodvibes

I agree. That is what I am thinking.

I hear ya. Hubby says it's my camera and I know how to use it so I should carry it. Which I agree with. I am not sure my bag will fit him.....

I am with ya on the less bags the better. I will probably carry the camera since I will use it and Jeff the video. I may just keep the one I have. You have seen my kids :rotfl2: I need my hands free!!

Well Mary, I have plenty of VBs but no DSLR (YET!!! ;)) But I do know that a DSLR would not fit into a hipster. For me, the less I have to carry, the better. Have you thought about a backpack?

BTW.....I have persuaded Kevin to go look at DSLRs tomorrow for Valentine's Day!

I LOVE all my vera bradley!!! I unfortunatly haven't gotten a DSLR yet, planning on going this weekend to get a Nikon D5000 :banana::banana:, but I love my hipster and backpack. I would say the backpack would be much better for a DSLR. The opening on the hipster is very narrow. I carried it in May last year when we went, and all I put in it was my wallet, point and shoot camera and a bottle of water, and it was CRAMED!!! I would go to a VB store and take my camera with me trying all the stuff in it seeing how it would work. I know the store here wouldn't care, they'd probubly be helping you load it up lol

When I carry my Hipster I clip my camera case to the strap of the Vera so it just dangles. Of course the camera case color compliments the Vera print!
