Hoping the Rain Stays Away-We're Going Back in May-TR started

Well Mary, I have plenty of VBs but no DSLR (YET!!! ;)) But I do know that a DSLR would not fit into a hipster. For me, the less I have to carry, the better. Have you thought about a backpack?

BTW.....I have persuaded Kevin to go look at DSLRs tomorrow for Valentine's Day!

I have considered a backpack. I hope you got the DSLR!!

I LOVE all my vera bradley!!! I unfortunatly haven't gotten a DSLR yet, planning on going this weekend to get a Nikon D5000 :banana::banana:, but I love my hipster and backpack. I would say the backpack would be much better for a DSLR. The opening on the hipster is very narrow. I carried it in May last year when we went, and all I put in it was my wallet, point and shoot camera and a bottle of water, and it was CRAMED!!! I would go to a VB store and take my camera with me trying all the stuff in it seeing how it would work. I know the store here wouldn't care, they'd probubly be helping you load it up lol

Congrats on the new camera! That is a good idea. Wonder where one is near me. I am leaning toward the backpack.

We have a DSLR as well, so its a pretty good sized camera. DH carries a camera bag, I carry the park bag. However, in my Baggalini I can easily fit the DSLR. It works pretty slick for that when I'm on my own and don't want the big camera bag. I don't know much about Vera's, but it appears the Saddle Up would work nicely as well!

I missed the countdown party, but I gotta dance anyway - happy double digits! :dance3::dance3:

Gracious! I missed the 100 day dance and the double digit dance. Guess, I'll just have to dance by myself. :lmao: No, I'm serious! I'm doing a little dance right now 'cause I'm officially at 99 days myself.

As far as bags go, I used to take a semi-large backpack. But, as the kids got older, I downsized to a smaller backpack. Last year, I took one of the drawstring type backpacks. I think they are called cinch sacks. I also had a hipster type purse that I took a couple of days. I'm looking around ebay for the Vera Bradley hipsters. I'm using the excuse of needing a new Disney bag.:rotfl:

Thanks for the dance! I am not a big fan of the Baggalini...My friend has the saddle up so I could try that.

We missed ya, dance away I say. Good luck on the bag hunt!

Whats up with the post eating.....

I have that "we have 3 months to go and I am unhappy with my park plans and ADR's" problem. I switched things around but am still not convinced. Thinking of joining TGM-had a free sub to UG but it ran out. Acccccck.

I have TGM. I really like using his site. However, it is difficult to navigate. I use it mostly for the LCP charts and the forums.

What problems are you having? Don't make me start rethinking my stuff :upsidedow:rotfl2:.

Was not real excited with my thurs and fri plans. I now have thurs as a "family choice" and fri as BC and Epcot. Moved DHS to Sat which I know will be crazy busy but may just send Hubby for his SW fix.

I joined. You are right about the website. I will check out the forums tomorrow.

Be sure to join the May Vacation Club. I am DisneyMommy on there. I am not sure why I didn't use the samae username that I have here on the Dis. I'm just strange like that.
