Hope I didn’t lose any points

We have aug UY and then have until the end of March to bank.
I have next Jan trip booked.
We have 100 point contract also had 32 points to bank from last year.
Booking was 125 points which I should have 7 points to bank by the end of this month.
I was going to bank them today but shows I have zero points to bank.
Not sure what happened. I hope I didn’t lose the points.
Any ideas

The 32 points banked from Aug 23 to Aug 24 will not be usable on a January 2026 trip.

Right now your use year is August 1, 2024 through July 31, 2025.

If you are talking about a January 2026 trip that would require points banked from the current use year of Aug 24, the next use year, Aug 25 and you could borrow from Aug 2026.

If you click modify the reservation and go through modify it but not actually changing anything at the end it will have a small link that you can click on where it will show where the points were taken from. Xx banked, xx current allotment, xx borrowed

March of last year I had banked 32 points. Last month I booked our trip for next Jan. At that time I had 132. I needed 125 so that leaves 7 points that I was planning on banking into next year
With a aug UY that would give me till the end of this month to bank
Trying to figure out what happened to our 7 points.

March of last year was March 2024
March 2024 is in your Aug 2023 use year which runs from August 1, 2023 until July 31, 2024.

Since you banked points from Aug 23 to Aug 24 those banked points were only good for trips between Aug1, 2024 and July 31, 2025.

The January 2026 trip can only use banked points from Aug 24, current Aug 25 or borrowed Aug 26 points.

I haven’t been able to find the modify button to try what another poster suggested since I’m doing this on my phone. It’s easier for me on a computer.
So what happened to the 7 points

You can do it on your phone as well as the computer. You need to click a few points summary after doing the modification.

From your dashboard find the reservation and click on the triangle/arrow and then it will point down and then you can click modify

Those 7 points are part of your 2025 UY…you can’t bank them yet because you are still in your 2024 UY.

That is why it shows 0 points to bank because you don’t have any 2024 UY points left to bank. Once you get to August 1st, those 7 points will now show in the bankable column.

The dashboard only shows you current UY info for banking.

You have to go through the process of clicking continue all of the way through without changing anything.

Oooh thanks so much sandisw I was starting to panic thinking I had to bank them by the end of this month and when it said I had zero points to bank I was really confused.
But now I can see it. And it makes sense. I still confused with UY banking and such.

I would still double check because originally you stated you banked the points in March of last year which would have been your 23 points going into 24 points. If that was indeed the case those points could not have been used for your Jan 2026 trip as they would have needed to be used by July 31, 2025

I just did a chat with MS and he said basically what some of you replied
I have until march 31 2026 to bank the 7 points
while I was on chat I checked the dash board and the 7 points show up under
the 2025 UY
I still have issues figuring out the UY

Use years can certainly be tricky!!

At least you have plenty of time to bank them but I would hold off in case you decide on another trip that you could borrow some 2026 points to supplement those 7 2025 points.
