Hope for getting BWV in October!

We are going to WDW from October 1-8 and we decided to call this morning to book the first 6 nights of our stay (through the 7th). We were hoping for BWV, but we had little hope due to everyone saying that those who have it as a home resort have been booking the studios since 11 months out.

Our first choice was standard view, second choice preferred view. We got preferred view! We just have to call back tomorrow to book the last day (the night of the 7th). We asked if they could put a "hold" on our last day of the trip, since we couldn't book it until tomorrow, and he said that they don't do that.

The cm we spoke to at MS did tell us that the he did have Standard View studios available for October 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7th, just not the 5th and 6th. So that should give some of you hope! It can be done!

But yay for us! We get to stay at BWV during F&W!!!

I suppose Sundays and Mondays are harder because people would want them from either end...a long weekend, or a "value" few weekdays.

Congratulations. It's a great time to go. We have been going every year at this time and have a GV booked for this year. Have fun.

Congrats - I did that back in 2006. I made the reservation at SSR, then called at the 7 month window and was able to book a 1 Bedroom at BWV. We loved that location for the F&W Fest.

We will be staying at SSR towards the end of October, maybe I should think about switching again
