Meg and I arrived home very late last night after yet more problems with Delta. I hope those who travelled yesterday, and the rest of you who are returning this week, all have safe voyages home!

I want to thank you ALL for coming. It was so wonderful to see the people I knew from last year and even sweeter to meet new friends (who have been board "friends" for a very long time!)

Thank you all for your patience and understanding with the changes that had to be made. I wished that I could have had the opportunity to talk to each of you to explain the issues we faced and the reasons for changing plans as late as we did. In hindsight, there are a lot of things that we would have done differently, but hindsight is 20/20, right?

A HUGE THANK YOU to those who helped in the planning of this event:

WebmasterCorey - who downplays his role, but probably had more work to do than anyone, and those pins were awesome!

Marsha - who had to answer so many questions that we didn't always have the answers for at the time, for the planning and for the support. love you Mahsha!

Webmaster Bob - who came in only about 6 weeks ago and made a big difference in making this happen at all!! You rock, Bawb!

Joe (aka "Paul" McNiff aka Don Jumbo aka the "Hook" aka Zarr) - for his eloquent words, planning expertise and for being a great friend!

Penny (aka Disneymad) - for the hilarious Scavenger Hunt she put together. I have to admit, I don't know who won, but will check with her.

nativetxn (aka Katholyn), Patrick IL. and WebmasterJohn - for their support, planning and friendship when I thought I would go out of my mind, you guys are the BEST!!

To all of the hosts of the mini-meets, and especially Barb (for Real!) thank you for co-ordinating and planning these! You did an amazing job!

To Patinmn for creating that fabulous itinerary, all of your hard work was appreciated!

To Ray Sharpton for putting together that amazing list of DIS Con info, I can't tell you how often I had to use it!

Everyone who was there was amazing and made this year's event another very special memory for DISers (including those who couldn't attend, great idea, Nancy!)

I want to thank EVERYONE involved with anything , this was a fun trip despite the changes, Cathy , just being there with all my friends regardless of what the events were , made worthwhile for me, there's not one event I went to that I did not have fun and nobody was a stranger there, I felt very comfortable.

A thank you to all indeed!!!!! This was the most magical time that I had hoped for...there were several DISers that I truly needed and have been wanting to meet for a very long time and this past week made that happen!!!!!! And because of that they will hold an even more special spot in my heart now!!!!! And those that I did meet that I have been wanting to meet - I'm sorry that there wasn't more time to spend with each other (DaisyDebbie, Beanie, AJB, MSKanga to name a very small few but I wanted to meet them so incredibly bad and feel awful that I didn't have more time to spend getting to know them and talk with them more but I'm so very happy that I was able to finally meet them!!!!). And all the DISers that I met - I am truly honored to have finally been able to meet you all - I just wish I would have kept a good track of who I met......

CC..It was great meeting you finally. I think it's amazing to meet people who live so close to me, but I have to travel to Disney to meet them!

I would like to take credit for the DISCON buddies but it was really Angiebelles idea, I just got the ball rolling on it.
