I'm mostly a lurker but know that many here, are in the south.
Hope everyone made it thru the storms safely. Prayers go out to everyone affected!

Here in Arkansas we were hit pretty hard, Villionia & Mayflower were destroyed along with 15 who lost their lives.

Those towns are about an hour from me, when the storm came over me it had a different. "weird" feel to it. Made the hair on the back of my head stand up.
It dropped a short time later.
Makes a person thankful for family and what they have!

I am from the Augusta Georgia area. We are suppose to start having storms later today through tommorrow. Will be trekking the storm closely to see if I have to do any precautions (ie go to basement). Fortunately we do have a system in our County that we get a phone call when tornando watches and warnings come up. The Augusta area does have a side issue in that it was the hardest hit by the ice storms a couple months ago and many trees were weakened. This means even heavy winds could bring down a bunch of trees not just a tornado.

We got very lucky here in Tn. I'm sad for those who lost loved ones and have to put their lives back together at the same time.
