Hope all are well.

We got by with a few hours lost power last night. My alma mater USM in Hattiesburg took damage as well as another college William and Cary. Last night we had a tornado hit about 10 miles away but only one injured but 6 houses destroyed.

That's what I know of in my area.

tiggerdad, I saw some of the devastation in Hattiesburg (including the college), it's just sad. My prayers go out to anyone dealing with these struggles. I used to be in Emergency Services and had to deal with similar type of issues many years ago when a Tornado hit a small lakeside community up here. People are resilient though and will recover. Again.... Prayers to all.

We weathered the storm just fine here at FW. Last night saw winds with heavy rain and thundershowers. DH left a window open in the Livingroom and we had wet carpet to deal with;otherwise, canopy was in and our door furniture safely stowed away. This morning some small branches down and water laying around. We took the boat to MK but had to take a bus back as the watercraft service was suspended due to high winds. Hope everyone else in the storm's path was safe.
Squirrels and turkey also were back in full force today.

Glad to hear you came through it okay, Boomer1. Bama Ed

1) It got pretty windy here, but nothing else.
2) However, I did hear a little girl with a dog yelling, "Auntie Em, Auntie Em"!
