Ok, I know I will get some comments on this one, but had to ask anyway. Has anyone ever at at the Hooters that's just outside Downtown Disney? I have seen it several times just never made it over there. DW likes the wings and we go to our local Hooters alot, so was thinking of trying this one on our next trip. They sometimes have local items that other stores won't have, so curious if anything is different than our local. Just wondering if it gets real busy at dinnertime or since some people don't consider it a family restaurant if it doesn't really packed?

Ive been to the one on Palm parkway. The couple times I was there, it was not crowded. The wings there are great. Didn't bother to sample anything else.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if the wings were different. Went to one in New Orleans and they seemed to use more of the Louisiana Hot Sauce and not their normal sauce for the wings, still good but different than ones here in TX.

Hey, live here in florida. Was here when the first hooters opened. I don't know if items are that different. The only thing might be the fish sandwich. I have never been to the one in orlando, but give it a try.

They do offer wings "Daytona Beach" style (finished on the grill), but all the ones in Florida seem to do that. Otherwise, nothing to write home about, just a bigger than average Hooters.

We went to this one but only did carry out. It was opening time (11 a.m.ish?) so wasn't too crowded yet. I imagine, because of it's popular location, it should do good business.

I also wasn't impressed with the wings. They actually had a funny, perfumey after-taste to me (might have just been me), and they we a bit on the puny side.

I hope you enjoy them though.

I get wings there all the time when we're at WDW, which is about every 2 months. The restaurant is nice and does get crowded when there are sporting events on the TV, but that's to be expected at any Hooters. The food is good and we've always had great service. We have eaten inside once and there were other families there; the rest of the times I pick up wings to go and eat them at AKL staring at the Savana and/or eat them by the fire pit.

LOL I had to giggle when I saw this thread.. I did think who wants to go to Hooters when you come to WDW?? LOL BTW I hear ESPN Club has good wings..Dont quote me on that tho..

they're as good as it gets outside Pittsburgh;)

The closest is at 8510 Palm Parkway. I am not a fan of Hooters at all but when I lived down there I met friends there a couple of times. As far as Hooters goes it was actually kind of nice and less slimy than most.

I have had their wings but that is about it.. they were good!. I love the really hot Hooters wings.. I am also biased when it comes to Hooters.. I will get some flack here too... ;) Hooters has helped put my DD thru college...:thumbsup2 She got her BA in Communications this past May.. and she is a Hooters Girl @ our local Hooters.. she is contemplating on going on for her Masters now.. not sure.. she also just applied at FOX news (where she did her internship.. yes another flogging here :lmao:). If she gets that, she may do part time Masters, part time Hooters (for the money) and full time FOX... so yes.. I happen to like Hooters....:goodvibes

For Orlando, The Wing House is better. Same concept where the scenery is much better than the food...definitely try the Wing House if you're Hooters fan.
