Has anyone ever flown Hooters Air? It is the only airline with a direct flight to MCO from ABE (I believe.) Are Hooters girls acting as flight attendants? How big/safe are the planes? Do people bring their children on these flights?

When I was waiting for my USAir flight at ABE last month, there was a Transmeridian flight going to Orlando at the next gate (Sanford I think).

I have never flown Hooters Air but my Dh asked someone he works with. He said they have regular flight attendants to attend to the people. The Hooters girls are there and play games to keep people entertained. He said it would be no problem having kids on the flight. The only problem is the only fly out Sat and Wed.

Hooter's Air

If you would bring your kids to a Hooters restaurant (and I wouldn't) then the flight should be no different.

Oh . . . that is a problem. Thanks for the info. Since I am a DVC'er, I'll need a Sunday and a Friday. Thanks again!

Why do you need a Sunday and Friday for DVC?

Points needed for DVC rooms are way less for Sunday to Thursday nights. For example, a studio at SSR in October is 11 points per night Sun to Thurs and 21 per night for Friday and Saturday. So many members go Sunday to Friday check-out.

Just a thought...but Hooters air is going to be doing direct flights out of AVP (wilkes-barre scranton airport) as well as ABE.
They fly AVP on Thurs and Sun
They fly ABE on Wed and SAT.
Since these are only one-way trips, you could fly out of one airport and back into another. AVP is about 45 min from ABE.
I'd stay a day at a value resort and then fly out that Saturday. Tha flights are cheap enough, plus you get to have just one more day of magic, lol.
HTH.
