I have completed the dreaded task -- my tax return has been filed! Now I just have to work on the tuition aid form for Catholic school -- it will take 3 times as long as the taxes and I will get denied, but it is required that I complete it.:confused3 After I complete that I am rewarding myself with a day of scrapping -- no laundry, no cleaning (other than the children --can't have dirty kids!) and take out for dinner.

Ours will be submitted by 5pm.. DH just needs to look through them again and we will be done w/ this task!!!! :)

I am annoyed, I filled out the tax forms on Friday. I want DH to look them over, because we have some odd stuff this year with being a partial year resident in both AZ and CO. I told him, to do it this weekend. He still hasn't looked at it. Normally, he obsesses over financial stuff, but apparently this time he doesn't want the money back :confused3 .

Well, thanks to the Army, I have power of attorney for DH. Otherwise, I'd be waiting a while for his signature too.

OMG Susan, I just saw your tag :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Good for you- I am still waiting for the military retirment statement to be able to do taxes- it normally comes mid February- when i will be gone. This year I may pay someone to do it with all the changes- jobs, pastor stuff, teaching stuff, and school stuff as well as the house stuff- although at least I didn't have to deal with renting it out on this year's taxes but next year is a different story.

Still waiting. We don't have all the paperwork we need. :sad2:

Good for you. I guess I need to go take mine in....UGH...I spent today working on will, guardian, adoption stuff with attorney maybe Thursday will be CPA day.

I think my title is way too exciting -- kind of a downer after you read the post! The only thing I am doing with my tax return is paying off my Christmas bills.

I think it deserves a Hooray! Its a huge feat to do. DH is never home so I always do them. and pay off bills, and spend a little on myself. :cool1: I'm in desperate need of CM refill pages. Oh and our once a year trip to Sams Club.

:cheer2: DH! I never do those tax things! We dont want me near them! Carry the 2 to the third colum?!:rotfl2:
