Hooray for Tripods!

I wish I could go back to those raws and use them to pull out a little more dark or light. Unfortunately I just deleted the raws last night so I'll stick with what I have for now.
I'd advise against deleting your RAW files in the future. They're like negatives -- they're your master files. You never know when advances in RAW-processing software, or in your skills -- or both, most likely -- will allow you to go back and do something amazing with your old RAW files that would have been completely beyond you when the files were new. I speak from experience ...

Ditto that!

I am soooo glad that I switched to Raw not long before doing my first DSLR trip to WDW. I posted a bunch of shots that I was happy with and then my eyes got "trained" better and I started recognizing places to adjust white balance (to get rid of those ugly brown night skies) and adjust the detail... I eventually went through them all again with Lightroom and IMHO make a big difference in so many shots, especially the night ones. The moral is, just because you're not comfortable processing raws and/or don't have good conversion software, that doesn't mean that you won't in the future.
