We are going in 11 days to celebrate our 40th birthday!!!! we got reservations for the review, 7;30 show. Are there any tips or hints about getting a ggod table etc...Or just about the show?

AFAIK - table assignments are made when you booked the PS based on best available that time. Although you don't find out until you get there. Anyone have any different/better info?

Make sure they know it's a special occasion. They do something for the people celebrating anniversaries, honeymoons and birthdays. Have fun!

We went last week and they roam throughout the audience. The front actually didn't get the most attention. They will ask for birthdays, anniversaries, honeymooners, etc.. then they will sing to the birthday folk and those celebrating anniversaries were asked to stand up and dance. Amazingly enough, my husband stood up and we got to dance.

It was a fun show and we enjoyed the food, although I have heard complaints. No complaints from us!!!

I remember going to the HDDR when my oldest dd's were young. They had such a great time. We all loved the show, but they thought it was the best. I don't remember how old they were, but they were still young enough to be considered good kids. Now there 18 & its a diff. story. Anyway, there little shoulders were going up & down from all the laughing they did. That show was the highlight of there trip. We went with them again a few years ago, so my other dd (6yr. at the time) could enjoy it. While my little one loved it, my big ones thought it was the corniest thing & was quite annoyed that they were there. Both my dh & myself still enjoy the show & will be going to see it again next week. Without my 2 oldest this time.

We're going in June 2004. Made reservations three months ago. Supposedly the longer out you make your reservations, the better the table you get. I also made ressies in April 2001 for May 2002 and we had wonderful seats. We were right in the center and there was only one table in between us and the stage. My son's girlfriend (18 at the time) was the can can girl. We all had a wonderful time. Next time there will be 10 of us.

They do seating by the date the reservation was received, but you should mention your special occasion. They go all-out for birthdays, anniversaries, honeymooners, etc. Have a blast! It's a great place to celebrate and a great place to have a wonderful time!

Thank you for all of the great information!!!! Ten days and counting!!! And yes, Texian, we do have the same b-day, I am 10 hours older and wiser!!!!

Our table was upstairs, second from the back. We went just before Christmas last year, a very busy time and I made reservations less than a month in advance. Our table was in the center of the main floor.

When are you doing Hoop Dee Doo? We are going down in 11 days and doing to HDD on the 10th for my son's 21st Birthday. I can not wait. We last did HDD when he was 7 and they put him in the show.

Yep, same here. Last January, we called on a Saturday afternoon for that night and got a table right up close to the stage. The people behind us on line made resses months in advance and were up in the balcony. Same number of people in both parties.
