I was wondering about the hoop de do revue. Has anyone done this with children? Thanks Chris

We've done it when our kids were 6mos & 3yo and again when they were 1yo, 2 1/2 and 5yo. They enjoyed it , we're going again in October.

We did it a couple of times with my DS. The second time we were up on the balcony -- one of the performers came up and sat next to us for a while:

Needless to say Mac (my son) thoroughly enjoyed the show.

We've done it twice so far and going to see it again next month for the first time in 8 years. Food was good and the show is great. The entertainers go all over the hall, both upstairs and down. They will even get 3 or 4 guests up onstage to be part of the act (close to the end).

We did it this past January with our DD who was 5. She enjoyed it very much, as did we. I would definitely go again. The food was great, and the entertainment was even better. I was laughing so hard that I cried. Loved it!!

I have maybe an interesting perspective on this show as I saw it 20-some years ago as an 8 year old and again last summer at the age of 30. I loved it both times! It's totally cheesy, but it's fun and I think it's something that kids and grown-ups can certainly enjoy together. Hope this helps!

Guess where we're going for dinner the first night. DW and I are really looking forward to it, DS13 and DD17 have no idea what to expect.
