Hi everyone.
I really want to go to the Hoop de do Review. However, my DD's are going to be 15 and 13. Do I still go? I have never been and this is something I have wanted to do but, it is fair to everyone? It uses 2 Dining credits. Is it worth it? Have you done it? Would you do it again? Thanks for your honest input.

We did the HDR in December with my two smaller kids and they loved it! The singing and dancing was a hit with them. Even the one year old was clapping along! Adults loved it too so I don't see why teens wouldn't find it entertaining as well. The food is very kid and teen friendly.

Ok we just did the Hoop on January 30.
Previously, we have done the Spirit of Aloha dinner show. All of us have really enjoyed both shows.

Just the other day I asked DD14 & DS11 which show they liked better. Both said "The Hoop".

Funny, because both DH & I liked the Aloha dinner show better.

I am taking my two nieces, ages 17 and 14 next month. HDDR is one of the things they are most looking forward to! This will be their 3rd time going to it, however. Part of the fun for them is the memories of past times, I think.

We went Jan '08 and my kids were 13, 10, and 7, they all loved it. When I asked them if they wanted to do it again when we go next year they all voted YES!!!

We went just a couple of weeks ago and it was such a blast!! We were there with younger kids but I can tell you everybody in building was having a blast from the smallest of kids to the oldest. It's definitely worth 2 credits!! Make sure you get "Tier 2" when you make your reservations. I thought they were the best seats in the house.:)

Our last trip in September 2008, we allowed our ds who was turning 13 to plan his birthday in Disney and he selected Hoop for dinner. He and our 14 year old both enjoyed the show and the food.

It is a unanamous YES from my family. We love Hoop De Doo. The kids are DS21, DD16 and DD12. We have been 4 times and have it on the schedule for December. It is the first one that all of them say they want to do. Go and have a great time, you just cannot take it or yourself too seriously, it was not intended to be.

The extended family of 15 went in 2004 and had a blast! There were 7 kids and the ages ranged from 15 months to 14.5 years and everyone enjoyed it. There are storylines and jokes that a kid wouldn't get until they were at least a tween (nothing inappropriate though), but it is LIVELY and the food is good too.

We've got HDDR booked for our last night's dinner for next week's trip. All of these glowing reviews are making me really look forward to it!

We were at the Hoop Dee Doo the end of Feb. Our group included 6ad, 9 teens ranging from age 13-17 and 3 under age 9. The teens in our group loved it. All but 1 of the teens were boys who rarely let loose and have fun in a setting like that, but there they did. They joined in on everything. It was great as a parent to see them enjoy it soo much. When my family goes back next year we will definently do it again!!!!:cheer2:

I have to agree with everyone else! We went to the HDDR for the first time this past October and we had a great time! :yay: DS, age 10, wants to go back again this year!! My advise would be, to go! Your kids will have a great time!! :lmao: :rotfl2:
