Hoop on DxDP

How does Hoop work on the DxDP? Do they make the ADR against the credits or do they charge your credit card now, then credit it when you check in for the meal or do they just take the credit card as a courtesy hold? I called Disney Dining, but the CM said they would charge my credit card now and if I wanted to use dining credits, then they would cancel the reservation, but could not guarantee I could get a new reservation using the credits.

If you have a dining plan on your room reservation now, you should be able to book it giving only a credit card number to hold the reservation, not by paying in full. You may need to give them your resort reservation number. If that is the case, call back and ask someone else. Tell them you already have a dining plan booked.

last year, Disney only used the creidt card to hold spot, not charged. then used reg ddp to pay the 2 credits. ressie was for 11 people and was never cdharged to my card.

So I just try to re book our rev on line for Hoop,and said I had to call. I have the DxDDP,but I had canceled it along with my resv back In Feb and just recently put it back on our pakage. So if you cancel, at least on line you might have to talk to a cm?
