My family and I are regular Disney vacationers. We are going for a week stay in 10 days. We have reservations for Hoop Dee Doo during this stay. Any advice for a family of 9 that hasn't been to this dinner/show before? We have Tier 2 seating which I believe is the upper level facing the stage.

there is a playground near by if you are early great place for kids to burn off to steam and you have to walk by it if you ride the boat from MK

Distribution of tables and categories, prior to any combining of tables.
. . . Cat-1 tables are main floor back to row8, they are the best seats
. . . Cat-2 tables are the seven tables in row9 on main floor
. . . Cat-2 tables are the last four on left/right wings
. . . Cat-2 tables are the eight rear balcony tables facing stage
. . . Cat-3 tables are the eight tables on both balcony sides
. . . Cat-2 and Cat-3 tables may have posts in the viewing way **
. . . Cat-3 tables require you to turn around to see

Love this show!!! This is one of the experiences I look forward to each trip. Category 2 is also on the lower level, so you could be seated down there too. The food is great and the show is fun. Give yourself time to get there. Depending how you are getting there, it could take quite a bit of travel time. We always take a bus to MK, then the boat over to FW. But we have waited a while for the boats before, so we always give ourselves extra time. Have a great time!

As PP indicated not all Category 2 seats are upper level. We had Category 2 seats - main floor middle left side. Great seats! After 18 years of traveling to Disney - we finally saw this show. We had so much fun- not sure why we waited so long to see it!
