We are staying at the Beach Club and planning on taking a taxi from there to Ft. Wilderness then taking resort transportation to get to Pioneer Hall. My question is how long do you think that will take? We are going to the 7:15 show and are supposed to check in at 6:45, what time do we need to leave the BC?

I would probably leave no later than 6. Figure about 15 minutes to get to FW, allow time waiting for the bus at FW and then about 20 minutes to get to the bus stop for HDD.

Have you considered taking the bus to MK and then taking the boat over to FW... you may need to allow an extra 15 minutes for the trip but I have always liked the boat ride from MK to FW.

We went to the early show (young kids with us), and were running late. FW is not easy to get to. We rented a van from in front of the POLY. It cost about $15 (included tip), and got the driver's card. We called him when Hoop was over (LOVED the show, btw), and he came back and got us. Worked for us!

when we took a cab to HDDR it dropped us right near Pioneer Hall... no need to take bus transport... just tell 'em specifically where you're going (i.e. PH, not just FW) and you won't have to rely on the bus service...

that being said, i'd still leave the BC around 6pm and if you're early, grab a rocking chair and have a cocktail at the tavern next door, pet the horses, check out the boat dock, get your photo taken, shop a little, etc...

Repeat-give yourself time to get there-better to be early. The show is too good to miss!
