Hoop dee doo worth 2 credits?

Should I use 2 credits on Hoop dee doo or get Two 1 credit table service dinners( I was thinking Teppan Edo and Boma)Is Hoop dee doo worth 2 credits? Thanks for the advice

Yes. HDDR is DEFINITELY worth it. The other possibility is to pay OOP for HSDR and use credits at the others. Either way I say GO to HDDR

IMHO, yes!!! Its a very fun evening. Food is pretty good and the show is excellent. You're guaranteed to come out of there singing.

I don’t do the dining plan but hoop dee doo is awesome. I pay out of pocket because the show is that good.

I may be in the minority, but I don't get all the fuss about HDDR. DD and I went a few years ago and thought it was just meh. The fried chicken was dry, the beans had an odd taste and the rest of the food was just very average. I thought the show was a little hokey and generally below Disney standards. Both DD and I said never again.

I have only been one time. Went last year pre cruise with wife. We are in our 60's. That said, we enjoyed the show. Corny at times, but loads of laughs. The food was excellent and plentiful. You will not leave hungry. Give it a try.

I can't speak to dining plan value as we've never done it but we love Hoop Dee Doo and do it on the regular. Between the hilarious show, good food, and unlimited beer/sangria I don't think it can be beat.

We absolutely loved HDDR. The food (especially the cornbread...YUM), the show, the atmosphere. Yes, it's corny, but it's supposed to be - that's the charm! We used 2 DP credits last time, and this time aren't on the DP so are paying OOP. No matter what, it's always going to be a must do for us every trip!

Another person who loves HDDR. We went for the first time in 2006 and one of the performers asked where we were from. We answered Missouri and his reply Misery, you escaped from Misery. We have done the place now 3 times in our 5 trips. Lately I have been just paying OOP for this meal rather than using 2 credits.

Yes, yes yes!!! The food is great, and you'll have fun at the show too. Plus, all you can eat and drink (beer, wine, etc).

Hoop Dee Doo is absolutely worth 2 credits! One of the best experiences in WDW and classic Disney as far as I'm concerned. There is a reason why it's been around since the beginning and it hasn't changed much in all that time.

I think it's worth it. We go to WDW for the WDW experience and HDDR is a huge part of that.

The vegetarian/vegan options are very lackluster. I had wagon wheel noodles with a very bland pasta sauce. When I asked if Chef TJ was available (the vegan chef next door at Trails End) the manager brought him out and he offered to make my husband and I a salad and desert. The salad was very good, as far as salads go. For desert we had one scoop of chocolate ice cream with two chocolate cookies in the shape of Mickey.

While the show is great and very entertaining, I don't think 2 dining credits are worth it for the food the is provided.

It's a funny, corny show. We enjoyed it. How long is your trip? If you are there for at least 4-5 nights, I would go to HDDR. If you are there for less than that, I would spend the time somewhere else.

And are you on the DDP or the DxDP? I would pay OOP on DDP (and get Tier 1, it's only $5 more and the seats are great!). If you are on the DxDP, I would use credits.

There's a pasta option, plus the HDDR sides. Do you eat fish? There's also a salmon option.
