Hoop Dee Doo vs. Backyard BBQ

Hi, my family and I are going to WDWover the 4th of July holiday. We decided to add an extra night to our ressie and I wanted to take the kids (4 and 8) to a dinner show. We are staying at WL and thought that either of the Ft. Wilderness shows would be cool....but I can't decide. What sounds better to you all HDR or MBBBQ??? I am torn, both sound like fun, but I would like to hear from people with experience!!! Thanks in advance!!!!

Both are fun, but just remember that Mickey's Backyard BBQ is outside and it is July in Florida.

That is what worries me....we saw a little You Tube video someone posted of the MBBBQ and it looked fun, except for the outside part!!! I am worried we will get bombarded with bugs...let alone the humidity of Florida!!! Maybe I am answering my own question there ...but heat won't bug us inside Pinoeer Hall!!!! However, the kids loved that they could get up and dance with the characters...uuuugh, this is a hard call!!!

Hoop De Doo is MUCH better - in my opinion. Mickeys Backyard BBQ - was extremely boring to us - and the food left ALOT to be desired... at least for my family.
