Last year when we went to HDD, we were told to pick up our ticket in advance at one of the resort desks. We did exactly that.

I just called and made an ADR for it again this year (in 2 weeks - got the last table) and the guy said nothing about picking up my ticket early - he just said to be at Pioneer Hall by 4:30. I asked if I needed to go in advance to get a ticket like last year and he said NO - just show up and it will be fine.

Does that sound correct? (I know you guys know more than "THEY" do!)

Thanks, Mary

Recently I was told to pick up the tickets at the resort. I would at least ask at check in! Good luck.

When we went in Feb, we picked up our Hoop-De-Doo tickets the day we checked in. We were told to pick them up then.

When I called I was told I could pick them up at my resort but if I did not do that to make sure I was at Pioneer Hall 45 minutes prior to the seating time.

We picked them up at our resort last year, and when I made ADR's for June I was told to pick them up at the resort. I would ask at check-in.

Maybe not the same thing, but when we booked the CP package we were told to pick all the materials up at Guest Services in Epcot. However, when we checked in, the CM said we had a "message" waiting at the Special Events (?) window further down in the resort lobby.

We just went to Hoop DeDo Review on Tuesday. No one ever said anything to me about picking up tickets in advance, so I didn't. We got there about 4:45.....about 15 minutes beforehand. We checked in and that was that. Since it's pre-paid, I don't think you have to have tickets in hand....but I guess there's no harm in checking at your front desk when you check in.

However, I'm sure there are a lot of people who attend who aren't staying on Disney property, so they couldn't pick up tickets in advance.

With that said, this was one of our best nights!! My family LOVED this show!!

We have tickets to the HDDR for 4/28. Reservations told me to pick up the tickets at Pioneer Hall's guest services and to arrive by 4:30pm. Can't wait!

Thanks everyone. I should have said that we are not staying on-site. But, it doesn't matter too much. We stayed off-site last year as well, and were told to pick up our tickets in advance. Since we went to Chef Mickey's a couple of days before that, we picked them up at Contemporary's guest services.

My only issue this year is we are going to HDDR on our first night, so can't go to any resort before that. I will just do what GoingtoseeRella just did - it should be fine.

Thanks, Mary

Wow, I booked our 1st HDDR, on the DDP, and the CM never mentioned picking up tickets. Maybe since GoingtoSeeRella wasn't told that either and didn't have any trouble without tickets in hand it's a new policy. :confused3

I just made my reservations for hoop de doo a few days ago, and I was told to make sure I pick up my tickets at my resort desk before going. I would check.

I too made my reservations within the last couple of days and was told to visit guest relations at my resort to pick up my tickets.
