Hoop Dee doo solo?

I was curious if anyone has gone to hoop Dee doo solo? Also any idea how it is with allergies? I have never been mostly because of price and nobody in my family is interested in going. It’s one of the few well known meals I have never done and was considering doing it on my trip solo. I have foods I cannot eat so wasn’t sure if they would be able to make it worth me going since they are not the common allergy things. Also how hard is it to get there by bus?

If that’s the case… I don’t think Hoop Dee Doo will be compatible for you this visit. Combine not being able to enjoy the full meal and doing so alone… it wouldn’t be fun.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I think it could be fun solo (and I'm north of 70 yo). I'd wonder, though, whether they'd out you at a table by yourself, or with others. Food allergies would make me hesitant, however.

I was in Orlando for work and did Hoop Dee Doo solo.

I was staying at All Stars Music. To get there, I took the bus to Magic Kingdom, boat to Fort Wilderness. The boat docks right by Hoop Dee Doo.

On my way back, there was a thunderstorm, and the boat was not running. I believe I had to take a bus to the front of Fort Wilderness, take another bus to Magic Kingdom, then take a bus back to All Stars Music.

I enjoyed it solo. Cast members were very nice. I got a cute little table to myself. It’s served family style and I believe they brought out the same portions for tables of 2, so I felt bad for the food waste. I asked them to bring our smaller portions but they said everything was already prepped. I don't have any food allergies, so I can't comment on that but maybe that would help with portion sizes.



I just wanted to edit to add that I don't usually dine alone, and this was the most comfortable dining experience I had at Disney because the show keeps you entertained while you eat!
